As the meet ended, I sat above a corral
where tears were flowing freely. It was
not the Gymdogs, but other gymnasts
who also believed they could be number
one. It wasn't to be, but their
performance, drive and heart reminded
me that not all athletes can win. But
believe me, they were all winners! It was
a meet where no one needed to hang
their head, and they didn't, because they
are all champions. On the other hand,
the Gymdogs get to keep the trophy ;-)
